Growing Consumers’ Confidence
Food safety audits are an important system of checks and balances that help ÐÇ¿ÕÎÞÏÞ´«Ã½ and others produce safe, high-quality food. While industry standards establish a baseline for food safety and quality, our team members work every day to exceed those expectations.
Customer Food Safety and Quality Audits
Most customers require suppliers to undergo at least one food safety audit each year. While these reviews can be time-intensive, they reinforce our commitment to making safe food. The audits give us rigorous feedback to help fine-tune our food safety practices. Customer audits performed by third parties are one way we help grow our customers’ and consumers’ confidence.
Third-Party and Internal Audits
Our corporate and plant food safety teams regularly conduct internal audits and undergo reviews by independent third-party auditors. These assessments provide valuable information to customers, regulators and trusted certification organizations, including NSF, Mérieux NutriSciences (formerly Silliker) and Food Safety Net Services, helping verify the effectiveness of our programs.
